Cross Country

Its my big day, I'm waiting at the start line nervously,Every bone in my body is shaking like a loose screw on a car wheel ."On your marks get set go" yells Mr O'C. That was me ,I started to run around  the small block it  felt like  a small Volcano had erupted in my body, that little  urge to go faster.Finally it was time to run up the big hill Ranui Terrace .That was the worst bit of the whole thing I was so sore. As I was running down the hill I could see all the smiling faces cheering me on . All I could think about was trying to push myself  to go faster  and those two words that Mr Rickard Taught me "keep moving ".

Finally I could see the school again I began to push myself even more like a lion trying to get its pray. I could see people in front of me as I  passed them I said "Thank you have a good run " And they laughed. As I saw the few 100 m i sprinted my heart out. Everyone was cheering it made my feel happy like a rainbow was sharing its love into my tired heart. That day I missed out by one place I came 11th as I went to give in my card Miss T told me to do a big smile into her iPhone"Well done Miss T"  said and I was walked back to class.

Athletics Day

On Thursday 16Th February Room 13 got ready to go to  Ngati toa domain with Pouakai syndicate at Tawa intermediate. We all sat there nervously waiting for the bell to ring so we can go and have some fun with our friends.

“bring bring”  goes  the bell we started to line up ,when we got there we numbered off from 1-28.

When the train comes we all go and pick a spot ,  I could see all the smiling kids faces as we arrive. We all sat  there ready to get our next instructions . I hear people talking about how much fun it’s going to be .Me and my friends go and pick a spot at the park ,time to eat nikki yells!. So we unpack our lunch and put our food  into the middle. I decided to bring up what had happened on the way to the train station ,shannon walked into a sign. Everyone starts cracking up ,at that point I had become the entertainment I told all my friends these funny stories I had never seen someone laugh so much in my life. After that we asked if we could go to the beach once it was open ,yes you may the beach is now open.       

Me and my friends go and get changed and run into the water i could hear everyone yelling. As soon as bex comes in she pushes me in the water .”It is freezing cold “i yell .My and callista hop out and start to sunbathe on the painful rocks.  After about an hour my friends got sick of the water and went to changed with me and callista .”Time to pack up says Mr o’c

Everyone starts to walk to the station it was sad to leave because it was a really fun day and it brought me and my friends closer I now know more about them and got to know my teacher a little bit better.
